How do you make races?
How do you actually make custom races? I can't find a link anywhere.

This is hardly the right place to ask. All I'll say is it's a very involved process that's not for beginners.

well you see.... when a momy and a daddy love eacher very much they call the all being. he sends his messenger, (different for speicies) and he adjusts the coding and boom you now have a new race.... *you look at me with extreme horor at what i just said*

Well, when people are bored and want to be able to play as rocket from guardians of the galaxy, they troll modders into making it for them.
