Liquid Tanks with FU Item Network
I was wondering if it was possible to use the Liquid Tanks with the FU Item network?

Right now, the tanks are ignored by the item network completely, aka, not recognized as storage.

My liquid tanks work perfectly with FU's item network. Not sure what the issue is on your side.

Really?
In my case, the item-network-register (that gray orb you put next to containers) does not make the tank available. I mean, I can't send items into the tank via item network.

I tried with simple water, but the water gets into the closest container, as the tank gets ignored. And by "closest container", I mean a container 10-20 units away from the tank, so not even next to each other.

Do you use the item network to transfer liquid into your tank?

Sounds like a placement point issue. In your Machining Table (or upgraded version) there should be a plan for a Placement Point Sensor (https://frackinuniverse.miraheze.org/wiki/Placement_Point_Sensor). These are usually along the bottom of the object.

The way the storage bridge works is it looks for the nearest placement point and connects itself to that. In your setup, it looks like that table's placement point is actually closer than the tank's. If you move the storage bridge closer to the bottom, it should work as expected.

It's be cool if there was a patch that added input/output nodes so they could work with FU's ITN. Considering the huge update he just did to get everything working, maybe it's a possibility down the road?

That was the issue exactly! Thanks for the help!

Interesting discussion!
This thread can be closed now or is anything unclear?

Everything is clear!
The mod is great, it was me who didn't know a thing about storage registration points.
