What's the point of stew?
It seems to take the same amount of ingredients as normal meals, but it spoils more quickly (just a couple of days as opposed to a week or so). Rich stew doesn't seem to provide the mood benefits of fancy meals.

Being able to dry meats and berries is a huge and obvious benefit. Cheese is a cheap mood booster. Stew's just kinda...there. I'm probably missing something, which is why I ask.

Vanilla meals expire in 4 days unrefrigerated (see Core xml). If mods like this based their meal modifications on the vanilla, then their meals would also last for 4 days. It is a fine or even a lavish meal which gives a mood boost (and I think a little boost on health -check health tab for confirmation-). As far as my memory and practicality goes, rich stew gives a mood buff better than a fine meal and typically useful when you have an abundance of insect meat and scant normal meat.

But hey, I'm not a stew guy. So go experiment and hail the warbourne! HUZAAH

Weak stews only use 6 ingredients, yet feeds as much as a normal meal. Rich stew uses 10 ingredients but grants a mood buff with it. Weak stews are great for getting the most out of your fod source while rich stews gives you a nice mood boost.

rich stew gives you better manipulation, sight, consciousnes and i thing metabolism, but needs level 15 cooking(for whatever reason) and the weak one only consciousnes and manipulation(again,I think) but requires "only" the level 10 cooking skill. a great way to stop your pawns from going long distances to get 10 of your 500 rice(wish there were a mod which would let a pawn carry multiple resource kinds, like both steel and components for crafting and building)

Pick Up and Haul allows Pawns to use their full inventory to carry things
