Yeah sieges are my only bane. the mortors force me to push out with my men and all their gear broke recently... also ran out of food last winter so everyones pretty meh.

Keep in mind i also use Blueprint mod to make buildings and houses + wall segmants easily and quickly to copy n stamp and export preset building types.

I noticed you said sieges were your only bane. There is a mod that removes factions with guns so it is completely medieval, in terms of weapons. Hope this helps

Yeah but its an event. they would seige with mortors anyway i havent added it i feared adding it would cause conflicts and error my save. but its fine i finaly neutraled the only Gunned Raider faction.

Hey man some quick questions:

1) how you keep your food from spoiling? No refridgeration back then.
2) Do those ballistas need to be manned?
3) How do you keep overheating down with mideval armor?
4) Man those roads are huge.
5) Thought of adding a moat? Mod for that i believe.

1. that permmeca ♥♥♥♥. and or lots of food production notice my huge farms. my cooks are busy ALWAYS

3. Strip down naked and have a few people with heat tollerance.
4. 3 x ? + 2 side walks
5. i could add a moat but with no way to remove water but the pumps i wont.

Ive actualy got it finished XD i got alot of construction workers and my stone bricks where overloaded. ill post it later.

To (5) you can go into developement mode and set terrain to anything if you later decide to remove the moat, can just roleplay it as your people filling the moat. Also since I believe it would be a floor you might be able to use the remove floor tool on it.

You cannot fill in deep water or shallow water in dev mode. there is a part of my wall that has water near it i had to use the fertilizer pump to fix it. but there are 4 squares of deep right next to it that prevents me from finishing the removeal. yes its meta also wish you could put sand or dirt on it to fill it in. but tynan changed the way soil and ground works.

Roads are coming in nicely. had a wildbore go made he just sat outside the gate till someone final shot him.
