Blood when you tuch a ennemy.
- 30 damage
Can't disguises before backstab an ennemy.
+20 back stab speed
-30 weapon switch speed

maybe it is just a reskin for the normal knife (no other effects or stats)

Back Stab speed increased is more of a neagative because ot ruins the knifes feel and causes the side effect of reduced backstab range if your moving. No Experainced spy would use this with slower weapon switch speed.

Here are better stats:

+15% Weapon Switch speed (Better Grip Plus Curved Blade would do this in real life)

-25% Damage (Backstab would still 1 hit kill plus the point of spy is backstabbin not shanking)

If we agree on THIS stat then Valve would add this knife quickly, if we keep on adding useless posts about stats Valve would take FOREVER to add this or maybe even never add like other weapons. If you want this knife in the game fast just agree with my stats it's balanced and more importantly builds off of the spy's abilities with faster weapon switch allowing good ambasador spies to have a knife that will improve that playstyle which is the one used in Highlander.

1 More point we can always add another style with more creative stats later but if we want this knife in game just agree with my stats.

I agree with the original stats in the intrest of getting it into the game quicker.
If I were designing the knife, I'd make it do bleeding damage, faster attack speed, and give a speed boost (on right click like some Demo weapons,) but no backstabs. It would make a totally new style of spying, doing the old hit and run.

How about something like...

+15% Weapon Switch Speed.

On hit: Traget bleeds for 4 seconds.

-40% Damage Penalty.

Pros:

Bleed Effect when you hit an enemy. (If you dont backstab him)
+20 Damage
+10 Movement Speed if you hold this weapon (dosent work if you have your cloak on)
No scream, plus no death message.

Cons:

If you miss, applies bleeding effect to yourself.
-15 Melee Speed
Can't Disguise (Disguises yourself as the last enemy you killed)

This stat is, i think better...
+5% Switch Speed
+5% Venom Glow on backstab
-10 Frontal Damage

CONGRATILATIONS!!!! VALVE IS NOT ADDING THIS WEAPON!!!!!

Dude this would be the worst weapon in TF2 no one would use it and spies not being able to not backstab REALLY???? That would be both heart rippinly boring and horrible playstyle. Pretty much anyone decent at spy would not use this weapon. But hey!!!!!!!You don't know that with your 7 hours and Gibus as your only hat M8. Just like at his profile.

Play the Game for at least 100 hours before going on TF2 Discussions......

Anyways lets make a comprimise on our opinions since everyone wants bleed damage *sigh*

Positives:

+15% Weapon Switch Speed

On Hit: Causes Enemy to bleed for 5 secounds

Negatives:

(Optional) - 25% Damage (Backstabs still 1 hit ko)

On Miss: Hit yourself idiot...... (Bleed Damage for 5 secounds to yourself)


These would be perfect stats for this weapon. It would be a fresh new playstyle for spy. It allows good combos with your revolver and requires skill to use. If you miss a stab and cloak the enemy could see you for 5 secounds when your bleeding. Also if you have the Dead Ringer you can activate it early by bleed damage.

In conclusion these stats would make The Scorpion's Tail a fresh and effecive new playstyle at the same time as being a balanced weapon. I think Valve would like these stats to!
