Starbound
WEdit - World Edit Tech
Something is wrong.
It doesn't seem to allow me to use it even with the Dash tech on. It doesn't allow me to NoClip, nor does it allow me to use the tools. What is wrong?

The mod is loaded and you don't have any other tech mods? Make sure to check your lot to see if it prints WEdit initializes (every time you warp to a place).

Beam up/down*.
Sorry, I had to enable Debug and use the box. But then comes the issue with the noclip. It doesn't work, even when pressed with a diffrent key used.

Make sure both in your game controls and the WEdit settings interface the NoClip key is set to "g". You can also change the key in the WEdit settings interface to "up down" (without quotes), which will toggle the noclip when you press W and S at the same time.

The bind in the WEdit settings is not a regular keybind. You can view it's syntax options here: https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-Keybinds/#syntax-options

So if you bind your NoClip to another key in the game controls, let's say H, your key in the WEdit settings should still be G (or better, "specialTwo").
It's a bit confusing because I initially bound "TechAction1", "TechAction2" and "TechAction3" to "F", "G" and "H" respectively. I've since introduced the keys "specialOne", "specialTwo" and "specialThree", but the old keys still exist for backward compatibility.

i tried to do all of these and nothing seemed to work. i plan on uninstalling the mod and reinstalling it after trying almost everything i could think of to get out of no clip. i have been stuck in the noclip mode since i first used it and have tried beaming up, beaming down, changing the key binding using the official attatchments like you said but nothing works i am hoping that uninstalling and reinstalling this mod will help. please fix this problem. (p.s. i believe the problem may relate to the ghost tech mod i have installed of FU.)
Set Keybinding from 'control options'.
1. goto 'options' Menu(not Wedit Setting)
2. Click 'Controls' Button
3. Scroll Down for "WEdit Toggle Noclip" (it's blacked)
4. Set Key for "WEdit Toggle Noclip"
5. Accept Click.

I've tested some things, If you are subbed to Stardust Core lite then the No-clip and the Dash tech won't work, If you are subscribed to the original quickbar it works just fine.

I may be wrong but that is my guess.

It is the same for me. The thing is, Quickbar Mini is now deprecated in favor Stardust Core and Stardust Core Lite. I have mods that need Stardust Core Light, which is incompatible with Quickbar Mini and so, sadly, I can not use WEdit anymore.

Stardust core is the thing that breaks it for me. I switched back to quickbar mini!
