Can saved custom pawns be added so you can find them ingame?
No matter the game, I've always had a thing for creating people/races/ect and giving them their own feel and spice. Already made a handful of pawns but I don't want to start with all of them.

The randomly made pawns just feel bland and... Random. They don't have much about them that makes sense half the time.

So in short; would you be able to add saved pawns into the game without having them at the start?

Play the game with the mod first......

I'm guessing you read that wrong. I mean coming across other pawns you've saved in raids/trade groups instead of just the ones you start with.

Currently? No.
In the future? I sure hope so.
As far as backstory goes at least, there's a mod that might suit some of your needs/wants called "Editable Backstories" (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=922168141)
You can create special "sets" that are unique and will spawn together on the same pawn with the same name (childhood and adulthood matching sets)
This won't let you force a custom pawn as far as what health conditions, what they look like, characteristics, etc. But it's at least a little bit of what you mean.
