EdB Prepare Carefully

Bugs and Issues with 1.0
Known issues:
  • If you're using the Facial Stuff, Psychology or Gradient Hair mods, you may notice that the customization button that each of those mods adds to the Prepare Carefully user interface has disappeared. I cannot fix this. It needs to be updated by its respective author. See the note about this on the main Prepare Carefully workshop page for more info and a possible workaround.

I think the problem is when using a customized scenario it wont load the prepar carefully window. When I used the Crashlanded scenario it worked. It is probably because there is items given in the scenario that are not in the 1.0 version yet.

@skandal83 Thanks for letting me know about the issue. If there's a particular modded scenario that you are trying that isn't working or if there are particular customizations that you're making yourself to a scenario, please let me know what they are. That may help me track down what's going on.

When i use random pawns with Prepare carefully i get the right body for the chosen sex. But when i click though the bodies i only get male bodies even when the pawn is female. :/

Bug with 1.0. Only mods running are Hugslib and EDB, and getting errors like the others.
Specific error reads "Exception filling window for RimWorld.Page_ConfigureStartingPawns: System.InvalidOperationException: Comparison threw an exception. ---> System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: "Verse.GenderUtility.GetLabel".

Hope this helps!

Small possibility that this vanilla bug could be causing issues?
https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=46247.0

I don't know how new this bug is. But if some senario stat multipliers are duplicated your Prepare Carefull mod if it's coded to work with Senarios etc. Could this be at all the issue. Good luck if it is since it's a vanilla but. You would have to work around it then be prepared for a patch for when Tynan fixes issue.

I found something a little curious. I have a pretty long list of mods going and I've been weeding through them trying to figure out which is causing the 'prepare' button to not work and show the error window. In the course of testing (many many many times) and getting a little lazy, I noticed that the error showed up with the 'rich explorer' start but NOT with the 'crashlanded' start. Weird, huh?

Edit: Ignore this. It turns out, it was a modified 'rich explorer'. Leaving this up to prove I was being an idiot. :)

I only just installed this mod, but I think I've noticed a real issue:

If I load my own character and then delete the one that came with the Naked scenario, the relationships of the deleted pawn remain and are inherited by the one I loaded.

It's not a game killer, but I do have to remember to go and delete relationships every time.

Totally repeatable every time.

I am running into a problem when setting up relationships between pawns, it allows the selection of two pawns but then there is no "Okay" button to actually finalize it. It doesn't appear to be a mod conflict. Does anyone have a solution to this?

I had this problem as well. Create more Pawns, then try and create the relationship. When you've created the relationship, delete the extra pawns.
