I too would like the ability to change race, the lack of an option makes race mods less useful

As fresh "Humanoid Alien Races" player, I totally would want to have some kind of race selection in Prepare Carefully menu!

alternativly while this might not be ideal, some if not most race mods have starting scenarios containing their race.

You can "sort of" do this now. The work around I use is to click "add" at the bottom and then select the race you want from that list. Then you can customize all other traits to match whatever you want including a character of a different race you are wanting to change slightly. it's a little tedious but you can select any race basically.

Side point the reason I am on this forum was to look for an easier way to view/see the race of a specific character. For example when i click "add" I have basically 30 different races and 400 different factions/roles/jobs within those races except they are not organized by race they are organized by faction/role so it makes it VERY difficult to find the individual race I am wanting to add without having to scroll through this entire list every single time.

Hoping there was an easier way to go about this or select/see the race easier but it doesn't sound like there is.
