Crew members break when i recruit someone and obtain a license

If i get a legit license with a job offer, i end up unable to interact with any crew. The new hire doesn't show up and can't be dismissed - the only way to get rid of them is editing the save file. The crew customization + menu doesn't show any crew members either.

I've tried upgrading the ship in advance with cheats, and the bug doesn't show up. I've tried hiring different species, and that makes no difference. I haven't tried hiring crew normally because i disabled that.

I have a crew member that I can't dismiss. They only spawned on my ship once then they became an NPC roaming the ark again. This mod is nice to recruit people easily- if it works
