Great mod should be a game feature

I'm using the 'remove the vanilla limit of 200% increase' setting, and I'm having a blast. Spacer techs cost like 1.3M or the like. And research is a far more important part of the workday for my neolithic-starting colonists. Great experience, what I was looking for.

Glad to hear that, enjoy!

Would it be possible to have a bit of info added (even if it's just to the mod description) about what the different mod settings values mean?

Stuff like "configCheckboxMakeHigherResearchesSuperExpensive" might be confusing to someone who isn't familiar with coding, for example. I'm assuming this makes all techs above your tech level multiplied by the next value (default 10)? Does this multiply again for each successive tech level, or is it once only? Stuff like this would be helpful to know.

Making the settings fit in with the default mod setting style would also be appreciated, as this allows you to add tooltips.

Just my two cents on feedback, besides that this ticks all the boxes I was looking for

well, those names are designed for internal use, however, i agree that this is not entirely internal since i added the default settings menu.
You can however look at the translation file[github.com], as many of the settings have a translation key that is exactly the same and also describes it.
And if you need even more detail, even though you arent familiar with coding, you could try looking at the config tab source file[github.com].

Bit of an update, it seems that the config screen is much more useable after starting a game. I'm not sure how that's handled by the game. From the main menu it just gave a text box with a list of variables, while in game it actually has a proper UI

The main menu config is the default settings, whereas the ingame config is per world
