Not sure if it's something that you can (or will) want to deal with.

BUT a female would NOT wear the backpack with the straps across the center of their boobs or even on them (that would hurt).

The straps would be further out to the sides (in general, it fits the same way for men, it's just not as noticeable as men don't have boobs that get pushed to the side.

More of an FYI/Cosmetic issue.
