Martians not attacking?
In my current game, I got up to 1938, had my troops stationed in DC. The event triggered and they occupied New Jersey, and just... sat there. I've attacked a few times and been repulsed, but they haven't attempted to move - the only thing they've done is sent out planes.

Anybody else encounter this? Know of a fix?

andddd nvm - after some time (and a reload of my save), the martians just suddenly started attacking!

They are attacking in my game it just like any front line, sometimes they try to move out but my troops always stop them, but then my troops try to move in and are replused by them no one is getting anywhere they have taken a base by Columbia but I have the same thing there and my troops are not even surrounding that base..? but they are not moving. They declared war when they first landed.

In 1938 scenario Martians tend to either sit down and do nothing, or pour out in all directions, which tend to be successful as I play with 100% buff to them. 50/50 chance.
In 1939 scenario they have a weird tendency to withdraw to some kind of defensive position along the east coast, leaving 80% of the area undefended. Also, seems to happen 50/50.
They also seem to refrain from training units before US capitulated.
