Just bought a Tou, Here's some feedback :)
Gotta admit, after testing out the tao mech a bit, got some notes:
Main gun: Satisfying, but has a firing delay at the start (minor, but meh), And while it does more damage then a Theta per shot, it doesn't hurt tiles, which is off putting; It wouls be more useful to clear space for it'self at least.:
Secondary: Nice, but having a stronger version that can only fire in siege mode is weird. What if i want the more powerful missiles without firing a death beam? Maybe just if it crouches fully? or crouching is what activates siege without firing?
Siege: Awesome; But a tease; Damage is fine, but for such a long wind up, The range is terrible. I would like to see at least double, maybe triple. therefore i can at least make a nice tunnel to wlak through like i can with the theta. It doesn't destroy blocks close to the cannon oddly enough, which is quite annoying for wanting to clear blocks. And finally, Any chance we can aim this thing a little? Either by slowly tilting the mech body up and down a bit ( might be too complicated?) Or by slowly angling the beam as it leaves the end of the cannon? (easier??) That would make the 100k spent on it worth it; as it stands now, i dont feel it's worth 100k, maybe 50 as it's more powerful then the theta, but not as practical.
