Frequent crashes, how to fix?
Hi,

Recently my game has started to crash a lot during battles. I usually have to save the game before entering combat just so i can reload it, as it crashes 1 to 3 times on average per battle. This didn't happen before, and i am currently well over 60 days in game.

I'm really at a loss why. Can anyone help me out? I was thinking it might be because i just added some 'exotic' troops to my troop list (i run on a mixed gang of (upgraded) mercenaries and a few imperial troops) recently, which might be an issue.

Are there any commonly known crashes known with this? I don't mind circumventing the issue (it's still a beta, after all) but i need to know what it is. A fix would be even better, of course.

When my game crashes like you, usually I delete the mod and install it again and it works very fine a few days

:split: Sometimes I got a crash in the same battle a few times in a row, when I reload the game. After I reinstalled the mod, I got the same bugs (like no hair bug, changed name bug, no criss skin color, invisible armor) as before. --- PLS update the game, I want to become the emperor :split:

I just want to add here that this happens very often to me, too. And every time when it happened, I fired a blaster weapon at the moment before it crashed. Is it the same for you? Since I use only Lightsabers, it doesn't crash anymore, but it still sucks to be not able to fire a blaster in Star Wars.

Now that you mention it, yes. It happened evyertime i held a blaster.

Did some reading, and this is probably(?) an issue with blasters hitting certain kinds of shields that was reported a while back. Hopefully it gets a fix soon.

I believe it has to due with the scenery being carried over directly from the original MB version.
