does the ai go for peace
i been playing this game for about 2 years in game and the rebhels and the empire are still at war is this normal

yes it is normal, the only faction that can make peace is Hutt Cartel

At the start of the game you get an message stating that Empire and Rebels are now in a struggle for Galactic dominance. The war never ends. Hutts will join in sooner or later. but Empire and Rebels never go to peace.

The only way to achieve peace in the galaxy is to rule it yourself.
