WSO Issues
Hey Fellas !

First of all i want to thank the author for this most incredible mod!

Since i am only playing Arma 3 for flying around in Jets i found this mod to be the finest of all.

I struggled to assign the Weaponry to my WSO though, i know that i can assign them via 3D Ede n Editor, but we are running a huge PvE Server and can't afford to stop the server whenever we need a different Loadout.

I have been looking in the world wide web for solutions that fit but i couldnt find any.

Please no hate , i just want to enjoy this mod 100% and i can only do that when my WSO is happy!

Thanks a lot !

Cheers !

Arif, please take a look at Grumpy Old Man's loadout editor, there you can assign each pylon individually and also determine the ownership: https://forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/204747-release-gom-aircraft-loadout-v1342/

question - will there be the posibility to add a selection in the current service menu? (i've made my own loadout editor but i dont want to add another action when there is a pylon system available for this aircraft) - Maybe you can hardcode the setup to the WSO turret if used in the service menu? I assume you use setPylonLoadOut?
WSO cannot move the camera, it is locked all the time. Does anybody know how to solve this?

^bump on the WSO cannot move camera. Anyone know how to fix this?

There is no fix for this right now.

The F variant of the aircraft can have each weapon allocated to the WSO in they pylon section of the editor for the object. This will allow one to assign different weapons (Such as FLIR pods) to the WSO. How this is set up is available to be seen in this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/azpXA6X.png

However, the issue of the WSO not being able to control the FLIR 'turret' to move the camera around and actually laze targets is not available. The mod hasn't been updated for years now, so there will likely never be a fix for this, which is a huge shame. As far as I know the only way to laze targets in the air would be to remote control a drone, or have someone metagame it from zeus with ZEN (use the Target function from Fire Support and set the target to be BLUFOR Lazed).

You are correct that this release here is frozen, it will not receive further updates. We focus on improving the Super Hornet beta meantime, also available on workshop.
