I think the Kinsey rating/bisexuality aspect of the mod might need a slight tweaking. It's a cool feature because things aren't as black or white as gay or not, but I'm pretty much getting only homosexual relationships in my colony. I'd rather not turn it off because it is more realistic than it just being a binary, yes or no trait, but it does seem a little out of tune.

Had a dude go on a histrionic breakdown, Kinsey rating of 0, straight as an arrow, just run around hitting on dudes until he got into a homoerotic relationship with a dude with a Kinsey rating of 1. Had a married couple show up, wife's a 2, went and cheated with a lady that's a 1. Basically, since I've installed the mod, every relationship I've had pop (that wasn't generated by the game) has been homosexual.

I'm all for the variety, life on a rimworld is tough, sometimes there aren't openly available mates... But I'm running a colony that's close to 1:1 male and female and everyone's running around being gay while they're closer to heterosexual and there are available hetero mates. I don't have a single Kinsey rating over 2 at the moment. I mean remember, around 90% of people in the world would classify themselves as strictly heterosexual. I'm not a psychologist, but from what I've read about it the Kinsey scale is more about sexual experiences and behaviors than it's about sexual tendencies or attraction. It's also kind of gone the way of Freud's theories in terms of it generally being considered obsolete. With that, it seems a little odd that someone who is like a 1 would be willing to dive into a homosexual relationship while they would obviously prefer a heterosexual one, and there are potential heterosexual mates available in the colony. Societal factors aside, I think most men or women with a slight tinge of homosexual attraction would leave it at that and go for opposite gendered mates given the opportunity; kind of like how a lot of women in the world would be cool with kissing a girl, but wouldn't necessarily marry one, or openly be a couple with one.

The mod's kickass, beats the heck out of Tynan's current vanilla imagining of the psyche. Either way, I think that it is a good feature, it just needs to be dialed back or tuned a little to reflect reality a little more properly. You'd think I'm running a prison with the amount of straight guys banging each other in my colony.
