Cluster Question, And Issue.
Installed the Capitalism Currency, NPC and Player mods on our server today. However upon going to another map in the cluster, the bank opened a brand new bank account for the admins testing. Do we limit the bank to one map, and force players to travel through the cluster to use a bank, or?

we placed a bank on our new server in the cluster and it erased the bank accounts on the main server. folks lost alot of gold tonight. How is this supposed to work for clusters?

Cluster setup will append the cluster id to your bank save files. You'll need to sync the Bank subfolder to all your cluster servers/maps.

So if you didn't use a cluster before, it will happen that your old save files are still there but not recognized since you need to append the cluster id to them @ComBat Cow

I run a cluster with 3 servers running independant GUS.ini and Game.ini files. Is it possible to enable the ability to specify the shared cluster directory for the path override, thus enabling all servers to utilize the same bank across all servers?

@Kane, you could sync a specific subfolder, in this case the bank savegame subfolder

I run through a host so have to be able to utilize a shared folder.

What I want to do is specify a single directory for the bank save file. Thus all banks in the cluster utilize the same save file. Syncing is not an option through my host, however a shared location is.

you can only choose between a subfolder in \SavedArks oder \SaveGames

@impulse so coding in an override is not something that is possible for hosted clusters?

which/what override? I only did prepare two possible save locations. I won't add additional save locations, since this will only impose more questions/confusion and convolutes the code. You first need to check if you can sync the subfolders within previously named folders.

My Host will allow me to use the shared cluster directory and that is it. I'm only asking for and .ini configurable location to use istead of the two defaults. As for questions and confusions, it's simply explained by stating its the location of the bank file that all servers in within the same cluster can acess. As for convoluting the code, I know how getting information from the .ini file works within the devkit works. I WOuldn't This isn't a difficult change base on the amount of configurable data you have in the mod already.

I Also wanted to point out that I love the mod and what you have done with it. Giving an option for an economy in this game is the greatest ever. I've tried other mods but yours is by far the most comprehensive and versatile of them. Not to mention very easy to use. So thank you!

@Kane, steam didn't notify me of your new entry, again... To answer your point, yes i'll have a look at it and see when i have time to implement a custom savegame location gus.ini setting.

so, I put a bank down on my one map rag, then on my other server Aberr. I started both servers and no cluster communication between the banks. Is it some sort of INI I am missing to tell the banks to sync up?

@ComBat Cow, you need to symlink/sync the savegame files. Have a look at the BountyHunter mod, there you'll find a detailed description of that.
