I am attempting to place lights on my ship but they are constantly flickering locations no matter where I try to put them, This is multiple lights, when I just try to place them when I see the green, it just cancels and goes back in my inventory. Is there a key to press to lock the position so I can place them?

UPDATE: It appears I can only properly place them on interior wooden walls, it won't place on the exterior side of wooden walls.
