Issue with ladders attaching down from docks
OK, so prior to this week's ARK update, I had a ladder going down from the side of my dock down into the water. It was a good 5 or 6 ladders in length. Last night I discovered that I could only climb up the ladder until I was at the bottom of the top-most ladder. And then I'd stop. (Again, this was working previously all week for me.)

I just took a little time to test this. The ladders were all originally S+. I just replaced them all with vanilla ladders. Same issue.

So then, I thought, maybe it's just that particular spot on my long dock. So I took anther section (one that was at a 90 degree angle to the first dock) and slapped down a chain of 4 vanilla ladders.

Same issue.

So, my theory is that something about this week's update had screwed up ladders attaching off of docks so that they will effectively not work if they are more than one ladder in length.

Anybody else having this issue?

I've recreated your issue as well. Both with S+ and vanilla metal and wood ladders. However, I noticed one thing.

When I would start climbing the lower ladders, it would stop me at the base of the top ladder - Much like you - BUT, if I pressed e to climb up the top most ladder, I could get on to the dock no problem.

Maybe try just having the top ladder, and see if that works for you?

Bill, I'll have to try that later on tonight. (Just finished my morning session.) But as I recall, my dock is just high enough where it's tough to reach that first lone ladder segment from the water... especially when you're trying to escape from a manta! <grin!>
