How to drive this thing ?

I made a giant raft for transporting big dinos but i don't know how to drive it from above ?

Do i have to drive the raft from the original place ? or there is a wheel i can place in ?

If you press K for the birds eye view it disables the steering.

If you go to the tiller and look at the radial menu you can extend the point of view of the camera higher and further away so you can see what you are doing.
