Advanced Rafts
I think that the Cauldron is Bugged
I have a set up and working cauldron on a taming raft I am using as my temporary base as I am moving to a new base I am building on the Center Map. As I built my new base I went to install a couple of cauldrons in my base and I could not get them to work.

As I have posted before using S+ internal Piping has worked for me in 2 different bases, allong with using S+ and vanilla pipes to irrigate them. In this new base I put up an array of water tanks, used internal piping to bring the water into my base ant then tried both internal and metal pipes to irrigate the cauldrons and nothing worked. The pipes are showing water and work with taps and other items both vanilla and modded.

Meanwhile the cauldrons I already set up are all working fine. Is anyone else having issues with this bug?

I found out what the issue was.

In base building I usually use intake irrigation for a short time, pull it down after building a series of water resevoirs/tanks, then add more capacity as needed.

I have only recently started using the cauldrons over my last few bases, and after hiding interior pipes for astetics around the same time, I didn't notice I didn't take down my water intakes.

The Cauldron only works with Intake Pipe irrigation, and not with water tanks.

So after building a big water tank farm, a huge platform covered in S+ Ceilings so I can use the intier plumbing pieces all the way into my new base I now have a 8 piece pipe and intake going to a map glitch to water right by my back door that lets me get water where there is none. It is now connected to the 450+ piece platform (foundations with cielings on top) and 22 piece metal tank farm that is now redundant and days of work wasted.

You have to just love building in ARK :steamfacepalm:
