How to enable the outdated scenarios (Earth 1942, Europe NA 1936, ...)
There are some scenario that have not been updated since a long time and were causing a lot of crashes with the previous versions of the mod.

They still do not work with the new version, as their authors are inactive at the moment, but if you want to try them or edit them, you can enable them using the following:

Open the R.E.D. WWII Edition (v xx).modinfo file in the "..\Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\R.E.D. WWII Edition (v xx)" folder with any text editor and find and replace all CustomRED_ to CustomRED


I CAN'T PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT IF YOU USE THOSE MAPS

i didnt have any crashes, id at least like the option to play them... if it crashes it crashes but those earth maps were the best ever

if it crashes the comment section is filled with requests to fixes them (which is normal), the problem being that I can't fix those.

The way it is now, I've got interesting gameplay reports, and crashes reports can be worked on because I know they are not linked to part of the code that I've not tested myself.

I have the file open, but I'm confused at where I'm supposed to find the "CustomRED_" sections. Can you elaborate on that?

@Assassins01: you can open it with any text editor

@Cerberus: use the search function of your text editor (usally just press control+F) to find the lines that start with:
<EntryPoint type="CustomRED_"
