Sid Meier's Civilization V

Sid Meier's Civilization V

R.E.D. WWII Edition
Scenario Europe/America July 1936 crashes when Paris is captured.
The scenario works fine until I capture Paris (Get all the Atlantic cities, Vichy France is formed). When i end the turn it crashes right after citystates turn. (Works as far as France controls Paris)

the 1936 scenarios are included for testing purpose only, so that other modders can edit them, they are tagged unstable for this reason and I can't provide support for them ATM.

the next version of the mod will have a long beta test phase to make those maps playable, but until then there is no need to report bugs or crashes while playing on them: I already now that they are not working.

Is there anyway to avoid this crash? Please dont tell me that the only way is to leave France alone. Another question: When the next version is coming?
Third question: Which scenarios are stable, playable and shouldnt crash?
Fourth and the last question: Will the saves update too or will they be vanished? (I mean if the scenario (europe/america 1936) updates and becomes stable can I continue from the saves of this version?)

I can't know before I start working on this map, it's not one of my scenarios.
Before the end of the year for next version I hope.
Stable scenarios are the ones tagged "Stable" in green on the right of the scenario selection screen.
Saves will crash, the next version will be very different and not save compatible.

Thank you.

I experienced the same problem (game crashes upon capturing Paris) while playing as Germany in the Europe 1939-1945 scenario. I am confused since this scenario is marked "stable." Is there anything I can do?

do you know when the next update will be....because its been almost a year according to the mods page........this is a really amazing mod and myself and MANY others would appricate it if you could fix this crash and any others for this game mode because honestly this and the world map are the best 2 scenarios and the reason everybody downloads the mod

Gedemon, are you still working on these scenarios? I hope so as they are amongs the best mods available. I have played the stable European map but i want to play the others that currently crash at Paris. I have tried the work arounds, but either im not technical enough or they don't work. It would be tragic for the enormous worldwide one not to becone playable, its awesome.

Wow, what a great MOD. I played for hours on the 1936 Map with different parties. And I mean for days when I say hours :-) Great Ideas, great attention to detail. Easily the best Mod ever!

It is a shame though, that the scripts are not working 100% for everyone. In my last game, Austria was not annexed by Germany when I played Japan. And the game crashed when Italy took control of Paris. Too bad.

Thinking about Scenarios What about Alternet History, I did both Checked and Unchecked But All in all IT stays to actual time line.
