Version 2.2.3 Patch Notes & Bug Reports
Version 2.2.3 Update
  • Fixed issue on Large boxes with INI config not being accepted.

Version 2.2.2 Update
  • Hard cap for box slots set to 10,000 (should be plenty for most players and servers).
  • Fixed issue with server replication for the appearance of the labels on the back of the box. They should now be visible to all players when copied to the back, and should persist through server reset.
  • Added options to the INI file to define individual tiers of boxes for slots. This will override the master slots definition for each size so that you can use both. All INI Options are listed below. You only need to use the ones you wish to alter from default. If no material tier is prepended, it will affect all tiers. For instance, you can define
    SmallSlots=300
    and all small boxes will be changed to hold 300, but if you also define
    WoodSmallSlots=500
    then small boxes will have 300 slots, but wood ones specifically will have 500.

  • INI files should now work properly for setting box slots.
  • Minor adjustment to placement for metal boxes so they stack evenly with wooden ones.

Version 2.2 Update
  • Added Metal Tier boxes
  • Added INI file support
    - Add the following setup to your INI file to define your box settings:
    [OCDBoxes] SmallSlots=15 SmallLocking=False MediumSlots=30 MediumLocking=False LargeSlots=45 LargeLocking=False
  • Removed Locking functionality to address issue with boxes locking on server restart. Boxes still support PIN locking. Regular locking can be enabled via INI file if desired.
  • Fixed obstruction issue when trying to place small boxes to the left of other boxes.
  • Added descriptive name mirroring of labels. This was implemented to address issues with targeting. You should now more easily be able to see which box you are accessing when you’re looking at a large layout of boxes.
  • Added 1.5 second pickup timer. No more accidental pickups!
  • Added the ability to copy your label to the back of the boxes so if you are using a mass storage room in aisles, you can easily see the label from both sides.

Bugs Reported
  • Boxes are not snapping and placing - Working as normal in tests on single player and dedicated server.
  • Possible conflict with certain mods. Testing for compatibility with Structures Plus.
Confirmed Bugs
  • Issue with INI file settings not applying properly. Locking activation is not working. Slots are adjustable, but are not reflected in the UI. For instance, if you have your slots set to 100 for small boxes, the Inventory UI will still show **/15 but you can add up to 100 items anyway. - BUG SQUASHED
  • Hard cap on Large boxes at 300. – BUG SQUASHED
  • Possible bug where back labels disappear when no one has the boxes loaded. – BUG SQUASHED
  • Issue with INI file not pushing slots sizes to clients. This is only an issue for Large boxes. Small and medium are working as intended. - BUG SQUASHED
  • Folders disappear on boxes.

I am having no trouble with boxes snapping or placing on a single player or dedicated server. Please try loading the mod first if you are having trouble.

@Echo - When you change the INI, you can put more into a container. For instance I have the small set to take 30 stacks. I can put the 30 stacks into the container, but it says 30/15 not 30/30.

Thanks, I'll check this out. I'm testing the INI stuff again now to see if I am having the same trouble.

Echo, Big Thank you for answer me, in fact
I had a big problem loading mod on the server, I had to place the files one at a time,
It uploads sub-files constantly,Now the problem is solved for me.

Thanks for letting me know. I am working on correcting all INI file issues for the next update. I'm shooting to have better textures, INI file fixes, and possibly some more new features in next weekend (January 28th). I will keep you posted.

More Info: We can't add to the boxes over the base cap unless we dump our inventory into them entirely. Adding individual items over the base cap doesn't work for us.

Also, this is meant to be totally scale-able, correct? No cap on box sizes through the ini change?

There is a hard cap on boxes above the 300 slot limit. Anything above it will not be registered.

Hello, I think I have a mod conflict. I'm running Structures Plus, Oil Pump, Upgrade Station, Meshky's Goodies, and your mod on a dedicated server.

When I place a large storage container (the first one I built) the server immediately timed me out on placing the box (was showing the green placement object fine). Since then I've tried returning to the server twice and was timed out immediately upon the game going to black screen right before loading your character in (right after "WorldEnd" loads).

However, my friend who was across the map was able to join the server fine.

I attempted to restart the dedicated server, and the physical server, but it kept happening. After removing your mod I was able to load right in.

I currently have Structures Plus objects, Meshky's Workshop (basic bench from his mod), and the Upgrade Station built in the same load zone. The Oil Rig is not built, but the mod only adds it's engram to non-Scorched Earth servers so I can't imagine it would be a problem.

Server Specs (if relevant):
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
MOBO: EVGA 132-YW-E178-FTW
RAM: 8GB DDR2
GPU: Nvidia GT 710
HDD: 250GB Seagate
OS: Windows 10

The backlables dissapear if no one is around the boxes.
