the wyvern nests need the shrine spawner for that. Just enable the WyvernNests setting

I did, I wrote that Ice Wyverns are spawning nests just fine, it's just that the ice ones are the only thing that is spawning, no poison nests, no fire nests, no lightning nests, all of them are ice and only in the zone where the ice wyverns are, none are spawning near that cliff

So it is working for the ice ones, which without the shrine would not work either so there has to be something wrong with the Interaction between that location and the spawn mechanic I believe...

if u want the nests to work, i recommend follow the mod settings instead of doing your own custom thing

Well yeah I haven't really demanded anything from you I just wondered if there was something that could prevent nests from spawning along the cliff at the western side of the center, like any limitation or a distance value that could be raised to make it spawn, I did not really ask for a fix and more for a reasoning why that might happen as I was curious, because honestly I can live with only ice eggs, got a second Cross ARK travel server with random spawns where we could easily get the other eggs, I absolutely hate having no control over the spawns on the map we actually play on though since that could honestly mean anything could spawn anywhere completely random and there's no way I would want an Ice wyvern to spawn on Lava Island for example... that would be as immersion breaking as it gets, that's why I was asking if I could somehow fix that myself with an ini setting that you might have forgotten to list since I have seen some stuff pop up in the discussions like the Nest Rarity setting for example which is not listed but still mentioned so I was wondering if that still works or if that even is a thing at all and if there are more unlisted ones that might help me get it working the way I would like it to, I hope my explanation makes sense, I never wanted to seem like the guy who is just complaining all the time, I'm just trying to experiment with creating a nice and balanced experience using your amazing mod and I was hoping you could give me a hint in how to accomplish that, so by no means take my questions as criticism to your work, I love your mod :)

u can only explore Alternative Config settings link on the mod page, which u can also fine tune the exact locations yourself through testing.
but even with that, nests won't work. The only way is using the shrine for nest, and which wyvern id you are using. If you are using default ark wyvern id, then you should change setting for no taming wyvern to true. Otherwise keep to false.

I might come across wrong... here's what I'm doing, I set the Rasa Wyverns to a Spawner for fixed location, Set the No Taming Wyverns to False because I want your wyverns (including Ice) but I also want nests to be able to spawn cause they create an entry level to get lower level wyvern that are not as powerful as the ones tamed (cause affinity levels), I placed down the shrine which caused Ice Nests to spawn, but no other of the three types are spawning, I double checked that your wyverns are really spawning by taming them which worked so I'm sure your wyverns are spawning fine, it's just the nests being annoying and not wanting to spawn in that specific location, every other location works perfectly fine it's just this one single location where they do not want to spawn at all for whatever reason.

hmm is the location the redwoods in the center map? It's bugged and any mod functions dont work in there

nah the location is the complete left edge of the map like along the cliffs there, Western Cliff edge, where the map border is as well with the giant waterfalls that go down all the way and the cliffs with the path up in case you fall down and the spawner is spawning the wyverns exactly there along that rocky cliff

try a different location that is not at edge of map
