(Not a big fan of the custom spawns, but willing to make an exception for the three basic wyverns. )

400 SE will be all over the map yes. If you lower, you will have lower spawns of thorny dragons and mantis' i can tell you that. I had mine at 150 and it was 1 mantis at low level.
150 vultures and moths will spawn - honestly you barely know they are there at this number
30 golems will spawn and remain at 30 contantly.
Same for death worms.
15 Wyverns is alot, just remember they will be attacking everything
2 alpha wyverns.
You disabled mothers? They are so cute. I would enable but disable the OP heal

Change the wyvern egg rarity to -1, the results of wild wyverns is HORRIBLE. not the TR version.

You have to remember, when you put 15 wyverns or 30 rock golems, there will be that # upon killing 1 or 2, they just respawn. If you want to make them more rare, i would lower your numbers. They are a game changer... huge game changer. I have mine set at 4, and it's still too many for an island map.

Also, i've been seeing alot of wyverns spawning INSIDE the caves. which is weird.

Ah, i forgot to set the egg rarity to -1. I remember reading that they were buggy. I'll take your advice regarding the spawn numbers.

I agree that the Jerboa mothers are cute, but riding around on them just looks silly to me. Trying to go for some suspension of disbelief. ^_^

So I guess this means the creatures spawn all over the map, are they atleast generally isolated to certain areas? I just don't want an alpha wyvern or deathworm doesn't spawn on top(or under) my house x.x

there are two spawn methods atm.

First is the Shrine method: The spawn locations will be random. Default and for simplicity sake.

Second is the Alternative Spawns config set up by Aphrodite: He assigns specific locations for each dino based on his discretion, and it should not be used with shrine spawn method, hence his tutorial will tell you how to disable the shrine method. Link is on cover page.
