ye i think it should just produce all ingots out of thin air instead of only gravel

you could just ask it in comments without creating a discussion
yes it produces only gravel, which you can use to get any ingot you want instead of all ingots at once as marco sarcastically suggests because greed is bad

It will generate gravel (it probably mines it), and it sieves through the stuff, looking for ingots. You have to manually request the ingots; it works like an assembler and can be found in the same tab.

yeah but I mean just only gravel makes iretanden that it does not just make the ingot but that you have to make them. do it so that it made all the ingots but it makes a little bit of everything

makes annoying* that

I understand why you say that, but that would have downsides as well. The develepors chose this way and I guess we have to live with it.
Come to think of it; you can make a repeated que of the ingots you want! That way it will function the way you want, in the order you want and with the rate that you want. Hope this helps!

Agreed, a lil bit of everything is actually a pretty cool tradeoff ;D You would be required to build a lot of them and then redistribute and sort the ingots... *drool* Oh yeah. This please ^^

true but still that makes it so that i have to que the ingots every time i built a drill

It only takes like a minute to add one of each ingot on a loop production if you really want a 'little bit of everything' drill..

It's a much more flexible system this way as you can customise your output to exactly what you want.

My thought exactly! Both ideas have advantages and disadvantages, and the way it works now both methods can be used =)
