Flagship mode kinda broken
Flagship mode is pretty much broken. A random ship crashing into a flagship easily destroys it which happens waaaaay too often. I really wish you could disable collisions altogether.

Apart from that it's an awesoem successor to the classic mod. :) Really enjoying it!

Hello,

We won't be disabling collisions.

But what you are seeing are the old manouvering scripts, which are slated for replacement eventually. I'm glad you're enjoying the open beta! Please keep the feedback coming :)

Instead of outright disabling collisions, would it be possible to add a damage modifier to the options before you start a game? So you can set it to 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 etc.?
also, if you do the modifier, please add a option to disable colision damag(i.e. setting it to 0 or something like that) and maybe even make it higher

A modifier so it's player choice is not unreasonable, that'll be something I look at :)

Can collisions at least be balanced so a (Vanilla equivlent) Frigate crashing into a (Vanilla Equivlant) Battlecruiser doesn't one-shot the battlecruiser? I've had Sovereigns at perfect health vanish when there was nothing nearby that could have killed it in a shooting contest. Maybe I'm just not seeing things but that's my guess.

There is still balancing that is being worked on. If you set your ships to aggressive then they charge in and get REAL close to the enemy, set your cap ships at least to defensive so they hold back a little. If you set the cpu to aggressive they will more than likely crash into your fleet but by setting your ships to defensive they will at least have your cap ships dodging the cpus charge.
