The map corruption is interesting- could you post a Ctrl+F12 log when you start seeing the issue? Unfortunately logs get reset each time the game is started, so I would need to look at the raw log file right after the crash. You can find it in your Rimworld directory in a folder with today's date on it. I could use both the error.log and the output_log.txt.
BUT...I have set aside several hours this weekend in order to do some testing on this issue for you. I'll test with only HugsLib & Map Reroll enabled as well as with PC added in for additional tests. I'll run the tests under both conditions with several different map sizes to see if that makes any differece. I'll do all that and try to get some nice log files for you as well.
If you have any advice or suggestions just let me know. Otherwise I'll start testing Saturday and probably have something for you by Sunday.
Thanks for the response.
I really appreciate that. However, I do have a new and improved Map Reroll in the works, that should address the crashes and a range of other issues. I'll keep the old one around for posterity, but the new one will be getting the updates and the polish. Coming Soon, as they say- mostly need to finalize the art.
So, your time might be better spent on more fun activities :)
I could take a look at your crash log- maybe it'll yield something useful.
Unfortunately the log publisher is not useful to diagnose hard crashes, but you can send me your latest dated folder in your Rimworld directory.
Having many mods often means playing a quite unstable game, since each additional mod increases complexity exponentially, and mods are basically just hobby projects. It's amazing to me that the game still manages to run at all with all this baggage piled on.
@BioFringe
Also hey, looks like that new version I promised is finally out :)
