How would the rifle be fired?
Would it use middleclick, or another button?

maybe primary is rifle and secondary is bombs
but it might just become a reskin

Yea, secondary you shoot one, and secondary to detonate it. So pretty much you can only use one at a time, but maybe it can shoot farther, bigger explosion, or just more damage?

i understood that RMB you shoot the Bomb, and shooting the rifle(Shotgun?) the bomb with LMB, detonates it

I can see this weapon truefully working like scottish resistance but where u have to look at the stickies and have a line of sight to be able to detonate

The way I imagine it is like this.
You can't detonate the stickies without shooting them, so right click shoots stickies, left click shoots the rifle.

its a rifle not a shotgun if it was a shotgun how would you hit the sticky mid air

if you could just fire the rifle without a grenade, what would stop people from just using the rifle?
