The other alternatives are either using the NV Addon that only works if I had bloom on, or using the cheap green-aura NV. I have my reasons leaving Video Bloom turned off, and the Green Aura is just not satisfying.
Sorry if my suggestion is typed weirdly. I'm very tired, but at least I know what I'm talking about.
Also, I was working on some addons, NV Goggles and Scopes mostly. Would you mind if I used snippets of your code, if given credit and maybe even a link to the Binocular's page?
As for doing the pitch-darkness vision thing, eh.... I'll look into it.
Right now I'm trying to make a small bunch of NV optics, starting with a Triocular Goggles with Lamp. I would like to just fiddle with a code and make light it's own way in pitch-blackness, but without the code, I'm stumped.
A little help, please?
Try wiki.garrysmod.com. The reason I never added active-NV was basically just because I couldn't work out how to do it myself :/
I've been trying my hand at it, and pretty much given up. At least I've gotten as far as I did.
All other night-vision mods suck.
Edit: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I remembered that you did a mod for that, sorry!
