perhabs thermal vision or a way to mark npcs/player with the binoculars

Yeah thermal or an actual inferred, one that is monochrome but highlights things like players black (due to their heat) and everything else white or grayish

Well I was wondering if you could make a version of Night Vision Binoculars that allowed vision in pitch black places. The "amplify light" Binoculars are very neat, very very neat, but they aren't that useful for me. Most of the areas they can see is already lit enough for me to see in. But if I'm trying to see an enemy in pitch blackness without useing a flashlight, I'm kinda boned.

The other alternatives are either using the NV Addon that only works if I had bloom on, or using the cheap green-aura NV. I have my reasons leaving Video Bloom turned off, and the Green Aura is just not satisfying.

Sorry if my suggestion is typed weirdly. I'm very tired, but at least I know what I'm talking about.

Also, I was working on some addons, NV Goggles and Scopes mostly. Would you mind if I used snippets of your code, if given credit and maybe even a link to the Binocular's page?

You're absolutely a-okay to use my code.

As for doing the pitch-darkness vision thing, eh.... I'll look into it.

I was looking into the code the bet I code, trying to find the secret of the Realistic Night Vision. I found the "true/false" for the NV, but no code what so ever for it to call on.

Right now I'm trying to make a small bunch of NV optics, starting with a Triocular Goggles with Lamp. I would like to just fiddle with a code and make light it's own way in pitch-blackness, but without the code, I'm stumped.

A little help, please?:balloon:

Try wiki.garrysmod.com. The reason I never added active-NV was basically just because I couldn't work out how to do it myself :/
can you make like a normal (not binoculars) night vision like arma night vision

The Night Vision Binoculars are only about 1% more effective than just wondering about in the dark, so a overhaul of sorts would be nice. Maybe when the NV script is fixed, it can be bundled in with the ARMA NV suggestion. Tis only a few lines of code to edit, and maybe a toggle script to put it on or take it off.

I've been trying my hand at it, and pretty much given up. At least I've gotten as far as I did. :balloon:
Are you still working on this
Would it be possbile to have a compass integrated into some binoculars?

do you think that you could make the fold down night vision goggles from metro 2033?

What if you add a feature for degrees X and Y on where you're looking so you can have artillery binoculars that have a thing that tells how high up you have to aim with an artillery gun to hit the target you're looking at and you can collaborate with somebody that is using an artillery gun. Also can you add a feature on that type of thing to where you can look at a Gredwich artillery emplacement and press right click to make the binoculars show how high up you have to aim with that type of emplacement

I'd love the night-vision overlay to be equippable while holding another weapon, like NVGs.
All other night-vision mods suck.

Edit: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I remembered that you did a mod for that, sorry!
