[Tutorial] How to get Items into the Main Game.
Preparations

Get the newest TQVaultAE:
https://github.com/EtienneLamoureux/TQVaultAE/releases

Start TQVaultAE.exe

TQVaultAE Config

After you see the Vault, go to Configure.

In Configure, go to
Custom Map
and pick [SteamWorkshop: itemus]

TQVaultAE should then say it needs to restart, say yes.

After a restart, it should show you notices that it can't find the Stash files, but you can just press Ok till you are back on the Main window.

Get Items

  1. Start a new ITEMUS Game with your new Character.
  2. Get the Items that you want to use on your Normal Game.
  3. Close the Game after you got everything.

TQVaultAE

If you did everything like described in [TQVaultAE Config] you should now see at the bottom that itemus is loaded, and you can pick the itemus characters from the top right dropdown.

Use the character with the items you want.
Move the items to the left vault.
Now unload the Custom Map in Configure and restart.

Now you can move the items to your character on the right side in the Main game or into the Stash over the tabs Transfer Area/Storage Area.

evrytime i click on my characters i get this Error "Header version is not 1 or 2, this character must be incompatible with this program" and after that Error i get this one "Player Version is not 5, this character may be incompatible with this program."

And then all my characters are grey and i cant click on any of them.

Any Suggestions what might be the Problem?

After the step on restarting, i get a System.ArgumentNullException error when attempting to launch TQVaultAE.exe. I can't figure out a way back into TQVaultAE.exe to reset the settings too. Any idea if I can fix this?

version 3.9.0 supports Eternal Embers did you try it with that version or the old one?

Hm... I haven't bought eternal embers. Would that make a difference? Nevertheless, I'm using the latest version from Github.

I deleted all the files and tried again, and it seems to work now.

I wish you could do more than pin this.

After all, without this knowledge this mod is significantly less usefull

Yes it says on the mod page the mod wont work without dlc
