Fireplace cooking pot
I am having trouble trying to irrigate the pot. will it fill from a nearby tap or so I need to manually fill it? Does it need it's own plumbing?

@T.Wrecks

You can permanently irrigate the cooking pot by snapping a water pipe to the right side of the fireplace.

Any pipe? and does it need to be connected to working plumbing?

Yep, any pipe, and yes it needs to be connected to a water source so it needs working plumbing.

Has it been fixed to function with water tanks? :D

Thank you I finally got it to work. I was trying to use an existing water system. I just built it's own from the fireplace out.

Any way to easily connect the pipe system to a water vein? My castle is sitting at a different angle and height and I've spent two hours rerunning pipes and can't get a connection between the two.

But then you can't attach an intake to a water system started here. And there's no way to tell if your existing water system is in the right position to attach to the fireplace.

I made this work with S+. But it's a real PIA with vanilla pipes.

Overall, I am very impressed with your work on this mod.
But this item is not up to your standards. You can do better..

I am also having problems irrigating the cooking pot, I did as you suggested and put a pipe directly to the side of it and then built an irrigation system onto that pipe but the pot still says it is not irrigated. I'm using S+ pipes and stone water tanks if that helps any.

Figured it out. You can't irrigate it using tanks, it has to be directly from a water source.

Good tip. Also I tried from a well on a water vein and that did not work either. I had to run it directly from a water source like you mentioned.

Hello,

I'm new to the game and am presently trying out the cooking pot in the CKF fireplace.
I just placed a water vein on the right side of the fire place with no pipes and the pot shows that it's fully irrigated. I lit the fire, put all my kibble ingredients in but nothing hapened. Do I need engrems for this pot?
Weaseldog 27. nov. 2020 kl. 15:01
The CKF Fireplace wasn't updated for the new kibble recipes.

They don't work with it.

kibbles unfortunately still can not be prepared in the cooking pot :(
