Dear warriors and survivalists,

To start with: I make maps myself, but not ones as good as the Driftless. Personally, I love a challenge. This is one of my favorite maps in Unturned after SmileyLand. (A loooong time ago... Around two years ago, when Unturned was just out of 2.2.5 into the 3.0 Preview Branch, SmileyLand was my favorite map, and haven't encountered a map yet that to my opinion is better than SmileyLand.) Now when I make maps, I make it slightly harder than the official maps and other modded maps that might be similiar to the official ones.

With a challenge, in this case, I mean the nights of the Driftless. I asked a bunch of my friends earlier, and they all agreed about the fact that the Driftless' nights are too bright to our opinion.
For us when we find nightvision goggles, it doesn't make any sense because there's enough light to see.

I would love if the nights on the Driftless were tweaked to be (slightly) darker. It doesn't have to be realistically dark (What I would really really love if it could be...) but at least as dark that NVGs have a decent use. It definitly would be my #1 favorite map if the nights would be darker.

I've already talked to Groudon Ramsay about this. He didn't want to change it, stating his opinion:
"I wanted to keep them atleast somewhat light because the map is so huge, you could be stuck in one place for a long time during the night."

I totally agree with that, but then I'm thinking like: Server Owners (like me) can put a loadout or a kit including a headlamp or flashlight into their server.

Enough wabberjabber! I just want to hear the community's opinion:

Do you guys want darker nights for The Driftless?
