Left 4 Dead 2

Yama part 1
Review of Yama Campaign
I played through this campaign once on advanced difficulty. In the end, you should always try to take my opinions with a grain of salt and just try it out for yourself.

PROS
- Great maps and music! -
I really enjoyed the maps and music because of how well they captured Japanese atmosphere. The cramped streets and back alley ways with small shops and giant neon signs were perfect.
- Long chapters. -
Though long, arduous chapters might not be for everyone, I personally enjoyed them.
- Abundance of resources (medkits, pills, weapons, etc.) at every turn. -
With the long chapters, a fair amount of supplies to help along the way was nice.

CONS
- Pathfinding a bit difficult. -
As much as I enjoyed the many little shops and paths, I did get lost often because there wasn't a very cohesive flow as to where I'm supposed to go.
- Abundance of Special Infected that spawn too close to each other. -
There are too many special infected. I think this would be forgiveable if the spawn times and spawnlocations of the Special Infected were spread out but I'd often be fighting against a hunter, boomer, and jockey all next to each other. This made it difficult as I would be revived off the ground just to be downed again.
- Too many hordes. -
I personally felt hordes would spawn too randomly and WAY too often, especially for the size of some of the chapters like the city. It's very difficult to deal with hordes over and over again in tight streets.

7/10
