I really dig your idea: I do.
But at the moment there are just too many details that are out of place in the warframe universe, and with Galatine in the specific.

1. The tribals: they look really out of place since they don't make any other appearance in game. Actually, they are also redundant. In your place, I'd switch the tribals with something more Orokin looking, especially since now Galatine also has a prime version.
2. The size: while Digital Extremes does take a lot of freedom in designing weapon skins (like with the Danaus Ack & Brunt) I'm not sure they'd be okay with you changing the design of a weapon so much, potentially stealing creative room from another weapons in the BFS category.
For that, I'd slightly trim down the size of the weapon and make it look thinner: less of a paddle, and more of a proper sword. Again, this would go a long way in saving creative estate for other weapons, and DE could mind that.
3. The hilt and the engraving look really nice, but you know what could really enhance the quality of the skin? Better wrappings for the handle.
