Co-op and Multi
I followed step by step all what is written under the mod description and I activated the option to have co-op battles enabled. It worked one time, now the game doesnt give me the option to set up the multi-battle whoever I start a fight. Got any ideas?

Also, one thing I didnt understand: do I need to open a dedicated server to play with a friend of mine to play those battles or do I just need to simply host a game in the multi-menu?

Up to you, understand the difference between a listen server and a dedicated server first.

Listen server = Hosted through your game while its on.

Dedicated server = a unmanned server generally hosted permanetly rather than temporarily, it usually is from a leased box.

In your case you are probably better off with a listen server.

If it dosen't give you the option to start the multi-player battle you probably don't have WSE on or the right version of the executable (but if it worked once, then unless you changed something it should work right again).

Also you might have adjusted the paths in wse.settings which might have broken it, perhaps adjusting the path in that might fix it regardless.

You're right, I changed the WSE version, from the 3.2.0 that I HAD to the recommended latest version, the 4.3.0, that is not working. Do I need to reinstall the previous version? And, if yes, will my friend be able to play with me with his 4.3.0 or does he need to install the 3.2.0 as well?

Thanks for the server explanation, I did not know that :)

The strange issue is that the 4.3.0 was the recommended version, not the one that I had, that was also the one working

I found out I installed the WSE in the modules folder and not in the Warband main folder so I moved it into the right location, still the problem occurs in any case.

Start a new save with the latest WSE you can find, and the latest vanilla executable you can find (not the Steam one) https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,324890.240/topicseen.html

As latest vanilla you mean latest warband patch, right? By the way, I'll try and I'll let you know how it goes.

I just tried to use the 4.3.6, deleting my old 4.3.0 and now its saying that it is incompatible with my warband version, and it is fine just with the 1.168, while I have the 1.170
