Will new lords be generated?

I have seen many AI lords die in/after battle. Will new lords be generated? Or we will have less and less vassal to play with

They just die and don't come back, and no one replaces them. I always turn the probability of lords being killed to 0 in settings when I start a game, that way only I have the power to kill lords, but I never do it anyway. It would be cool if they regenerated, but I don't know if that's even possible to mod into Warband.
