Siege Engines?
I know it's a long shot, but any possibility on getting to use some siege equipment? it's not really a medieval time if people didnt know that there were other ways to capture a settlement other than walking up a ramp or climbing some ladders.

On a serious note, I've really come to like this mod and what it does to accomplish such new gameplay possibilities. To be honest, I've been playing a lot of Medieval 2: Total War lately, and this mod lets me enjoy both of the games at once. It even has some of my favourite battle and campaign music. With that said, it's not perfect without some catapults/ballistas, they'd be a great asset in battle to be wary of and to use when fighting opponents on the battlefield. I dont really care for much on the siege maps (when capturing a town or fort) but the old way is just too tedious, because now with the advanced ai and the shields breaking within 2-3 javalin throws or a couple of arrows, my men get chewed up and spit out. A ram to assault the gates would really be a great addition to the mod, in my opinion. I really want to know what the author +MonarchEnv thinks about this.

I've tried to add siege engines before, as well as decapitation, but those things brought too much trouble to be worth it, so I ended up removing them

Hey you never know, maybe i'll give it another try.

well, that'll be awesome! hey, any chance that you may add a tunnel or some other alternative to the siege assaults, such as attacking the gates with a ram, (the ram itself will just be a prop on the map, but there would be siege options other than "build a siege tower", such as "prepare the rams"? it's really difficult walking up the ramps. It's a little change to the siege maps. I don't have much knowledge on mod development so I dont know if it's harder than coding. Will it be a possibility? +MonarchEnv

Siege towers, in all honesty, are worthless. They take a long time to reach the destination, and the troops don't take cover in them. They also extend the time it takes for reinforcements to come.

exactly! there's gotta be a better way to siege. Perhaps a little change to the model so that it had some slight cover against arrows from the sides, that'd be very helpful

would you ever consider adding a change like fire arrows as opposed to regular arrows. I dont know why i thought of that but i was building an archer army and for some reason i just thought that that would be really cool. great mod. keep up the good work.

I played a mod called Nova Aetas and it had siege equipment in it, cannons trebuchets and etc.

that's awesome! is there a way to include that mod into this one? that'd be so cool. I dont have any knowledge how mods work or wether it's possible or not, but I really want siege equipment to be in the game along with medieval conquest

Fire arrows are unrealistic, unless it's accepted into this mod.
