The reload should be taking out the drum magazine and putting a new one and pulling the bolt.

that would be impossible for tf2

You could make the reload the same a that of a shotgun, but only 1 load. I really like this design sir/madam! :steamhappy:

Actually this thing would reload like the pistol and the SMG, only not as fast. That is called a magazine reload.

And what it has is the Drum magazine type of magazine. Adn the pistols and the SMGs have stick magazines.

And the Panic attack also has that Drum magazine. It should reload with a magazine and cycle Like the shotguns. 12 shots and you fire everything before reloading and switching to other stuff.

you know what else would have a magazine reload? the sticky bomb Launchers. But probably a real slow reload. It would last about 4 sticky bomb reloads we have now, and the quicky bomb would have 2 sticky bomb reloads.

Also the Scattergun would have the lever for cycling shots and would reload like the Shotguns under the circular thing. And it would have two ejection ports and a double shot function. Would still reload and fire fast though.

BFB and BackScatter would also have the drum magazine reload and probably lasts about 4 shell reloads. BFB 6 shots and Backscatter 8 shots.

things like that.

The firing animation chosen for this weapon is the same one used for the righteous bison. I'm no expert, but I assume the reload animation also has to come from the righteous bison.

That is correct.

And I posted in this thread how it would actually work.

Replacing the mag, would be good, but pulling the bolt would seem like the reload would be slow. Just keep it there for the asthetics.

I think a simple sound rework and seeing shells spill out of the... whatever it's called, when it's reloaded would be satisfactory. Reloads already don't make sense in TF2 so it's proven that they don't need to.

The righteous bison reload is extremely annoying to look at.
