Recomendations, Changes, Ideas (OLD)
Since I get a lot of messages with people having ideas I am opening a discussion.
This will help make the map even more enjoyable and also allows you to have a lok if your idea was mentioned before

Note that this List will be expanded as more ideas are being collected

Ideas I have already put into action
These will be part of the final version aka things I have already mapped

  • Turning the Hangardome into a massive landingplatform to allow bigger ships to land aswell
  • Making the Laat move faster
  • Second button in the big prison on the ground floor
  • Rotating Clone-Breeding-Tanks
  • Second hangar in the acclamator
  • LAAT starts at the landing platform
  • implementing fully custom soundscapes
  • Reducing the amount of bacta tanks
  • more intuitive buttons for the elevators
  • Making the Spawnroom accessible again after exiting
  • capture the flag mode in the citadel
  • Interactive droid attack on the whole map
  • Making the Lighting less bright (have to test what is actually the problem)
  • Adding a better teleport system for the admins
  • Limit the abuse of the laat taxi
  • NPCs can open doors too
  • Creating a .nav file for the whole map

Ideas that I find interesting and are possible
These I will take it in consideration but they wont necessarily end up in the final version:

Ideas that will not be taken in consideration
These I have to scrap, sadly. Probably its because due to limits in Hammer it is not possible to add them to this map. Otherwise they might just be unfitting.

  • Rain (crashes the map) but a stromy soundscape (custom) will add the atmosphere while outside
  • Clone and Droid Fleet spawning in during attack to add atmosphere
  • Swimmable water
  • Sith Temple
  • Hologram at debriefing spots
  • Bacta Tanks can get you up to more then 100HP
  • Some sort of hint of where the skybox ("invisible walls" begins
  • Changing the addon used for the LAAT to Star Wars Vehicles: Episode 1
    (since lots of servers already use it)

thanks for write my idea with the sith temple... i know it dont context into kamino but a secret sith basis would do somemore roleplay for jedivssith servers. i guess ure map would be more used if u add a little basis. but its your map and your choice :)

and can u make a code for the laat taxi many users abuse it or link it to a button in admin room to activate the laat taxi or disable it.
I have an idea that is quite good but possible will lag the game / server or crash it. In the admin room when you press a button labeled fleet attack, 3 / 2 venator cruisers and opposite it 3 / 2 Droid Frigates will warp into the system and start attacking eachother with different coloured lasers. This gives some atmosphere to the droid attack your thinking of

I'm sorry but there is just no room (in the map file not space in the map when you play it). I can't add very much that's why the sith temple is unlikely too

Oh i guess there would be space for a little asteroid where u could be able to add a sith place not a temple just like a place with baracks and a sith room where they can plan to attack the jedi temple... i guess there is a lil bit room for that but i dont know the map file so i cannot say anything to it. venator is to big maybe a second acclemator just smaller like on the hfg swgalaxy maps (but imperial not republic)

dude no no :D If I place like two rooms so 12 brushes it wont compile anymore! let me show you this excerpt from the compile log:

Ah jetzt versteh ichs. So now i understand it^^ do you have an idea where i can spawn the sith jobs? the acclemator looks very imperial cuz of the mats and res.

Ich sprech jetzt auch englisch damit auch der rest das lesen kann :D I have no idea where you could spawn sith ... ill try but no promises ... the whole jedi temple wasnt planed from begin with
hum as you said one can reduce the brightness of the barracks area wall ect it hurts too much to the eye, can put a light in the area of embryo clone a can is too dark to me taste, armored door on the meter closing the hangar, see the system controlle room that allows a meter intérale lock kamino with armored door, another idea meter dining room below the citadel or the cadet team weapon, armor he takes the elevator platform to go up to the citadel, a security room or security or auxiliary aid station for kamino custody or if the main item is compromised

About the Lighting ... I dont quite get it do you guys all play in absolute darkness :D the embyo room lighting is a bug so it will be fixed obviously. for the rest im sorry but again:

And I will ... Horror is not nearly as wanted as it used to be
I know kamino wall are white, it is a white that hurts, if not great works
You could just do 1 enemy ship and 1 venator, And get rid of some the asteroids, No interior on the ships just Outer shells with lasers.

Yeah sure and its a great idea but I literally can't do it since the engine won't allow me to due to its limits
could you make the water on kamino able to swim in? cause then scuba troopers can be used.

Maybe for the sith idea, you add a sith room in the jedi temple, where sith holocrons would be, or turn an asteroid into a droid base
