Chiss Problems
Okay, so overall I love the Mod, however I have one problem: I continue trying to play the Chiss but everytime I do, no matter what edits I make in the menu before starting the game, I ALWAYS start up next to the Kilik and Rakatan Fallen Empires. The Kilik aren't too bad, but the Rakatan Remnants always F**k me over, since they hate me from the start, and at some point they will demand I release control of pretty much every world I own, or I go to war with them. Early-tech Chiss vs a Fallen Empire with Jump Drives that bypass ALL hyperspace routes? It. SUCKS. Can something be done which just turns off the Fallen Empires for this Mod?

Give them cake maybe..I mean who doesn't like cake right. But honestly I have no idea that sounds like a major issue can you perhaps not spread out a ton and sit back and tech up maybe try and take them on one you have some decent ships or is it like you start and they are bam right there sorry never played the chiss.

I'm trying to find a solution. Are your borders touching theirs when they do this?

Generally no. I tried to play as the chiss and i'm a HUGE fan of cheap tactics. I used every tool in my toolbelt including avoiding border extension techs. There comes a point where the Rakatan Remnants just decide to kill you. For me, it has always been 20 years too early for me to take them on. :P

The borders aren't technically touching, there is literally nothing but empty space between me and them. And I don't NEED to expand - the Chiss begin in this little cluster with eight colonized worlds already under my control, along with 14 uncolonized systems as well.

No, not at all! We don't even have shared hyperspace lanes! There is litterally nothing but empty space between me and the Rakata, and our borders aren't touching. Isn't there a way I could just turn the Fallen Empires off?

Could just use console command to take control of them and then use kill_country to remove them.

...wait, I can do that? HOW?!

Use the console command and write play 01 (since there's likely about 40 factions the FE is probably around the end) and just use kill_country. It'll say game over, but just write play 00 and you can go on your merry way.
