Why are people saying this a new map
I was looking at the comments of this map and other then the spam, People are saying isnt this map from another game maybe because its a old map from like 2013

It's from Operation Bravo & Phoenix (if I recall correctly), Valve are for some reason uploading compatibility versions of the old maps to the workshop. Some believe this is for a new operation, all maps returning.

However I just think they're removing the previous maps from the actual game and keeping them on the workshop to save disk space. cs_downtown has been in the files since forever and hasn;t been seen since 2013, so...

My best guess: The Objective is to reduce the game size, so people can download it and install the game faster, while at the same time, saving more space on the Hard Drive, since these maps are not even played anymore, and you can only access them via console commands.

The only reason of why this map is on the workshop, is in case someone needs to access a Demo of this map, or wants to play in a private match.

They said in the description why they uploaded this.

An older version of Community Operation map for demo playback compatibility. This map was previously used in Official Matchmaking in CS:GO.
