Generally, the majority of DC and TT fans hate it. It mocks the original show 2003-2006 all the time and to be honest, not many people are happy with that at all.
Since to this day, the 2003-2006 show is more beloved and more recognised then Teen Titans GO!.
This is both your opinions Carzfan21 and GamingWithOwen which one you either hate or love but fact is, Teen Titans 2003-2006 is better than the GO show, facts cannot be changed. However the other fact is, yes TTG is more humor and comedy as Teen Titans 2003-2006 is focused on darker stories, tone and darker developments of the characters. Some people like darker tones, some people like comedy more and light stuff.
I personally hate Teen Titans GO! and I recognise more of the 2003-2006 show as it is.
Characters are fine, I mean I respect the most of the cast returned like Greg Cipes, Tara Strong, Lauren Tom, Scott Menville etc.
What the problem is, they just screwed the original show over and basiclly started to take the p*iss out of it.
I mean I knew BRAIN who was seen in both TT and TTG, in TTG he had a voice actor replacement because I believe the original actor who played as BRAIN passed away.
Indeed.
Appearently they cancelled it because.
1. Season 6's plot was terriblely written appearently.
2. It was attracting FEMALE viewers.
Well there theories but they could be true, I mean Season 6 offically was never explained and to be honest. DAVID SLACK who was the helms WRITER for the show quit after Season 4. Originally Teen Titans was ment to end at the fourth season but due to populoarity and how loved it was, it was renewed for a fifth season and WB confirmed to the producers of the show that they are allowed to do a sixth season aswell. Despite it was Glen Murakami's animation and show since he created it. Sadly Glen Murakami was demoted to Executive Producer instead which means he cannot have a say much in anything in story, characters and features for the Titans, this is when I got annoyed and actually confirmed that Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven and Cyborg were just plot devices in the Season 5 plots. Teen Titans Season 5 was messed up big time inculding the movie Trouble in Tokyo. However as you know sadly the sixth season never went through as we all know.
Now I really would like a sixth Season but would it be really worth it after the downfall of Season 5? To be fair, chances of the sixth season successful if it was made, seems slim. the movie was terrible and the fifth season wasn't great and I fear TT would go from loved to hated if that happened.
There are many reasons why TT and the DC Animated Universe suddenly ended. 1 big reason unfortuantly but to be fair, it's fair they had to say that, Warner Bros wanted to start something new.
DC shows like
Batman
Justice League
The new Batman Adventures
Teen Titans
Batman Beyond
The Batman (2005)
Superman the animated series
Zeta Project (Note:- This was cancelled because it had something to do with 9/11)
Static Shock
etc.
WB terminated all of them because either some of them ended and had an ending like JL or Batman or were terminated without reason (Teen Titans). But WB did cancel them because I didn't finish there and was going to say the DC animated universe went on for 15 years. They didn't really want to do it that long.
The Teen Titans could reappear in a live action film in the future with Ray Fisher to star as Cyborg in the DC Extended Universem however instead of Robin, it maybe indeed Nightwing instead. (Zack Snyder's DC)
I hope I have explained why most of the DC shows ended especially Teen Titans.
