Balance areas for both teams.
Which areas would you think would best give each team a massive advantage?
Example: the last point would give Red a massive advantage as it maintains the height advantage and it is also a really thin choke Blu has to push through.

I'm not sure what you're saying, but generally payload maps are designed to give the attackers a massive advantage at the start, slowly become evenly balanced near the middle, then give defenders an advantage at the end.

Dustbowl is the most classic example; the first control point is in a swiss-cheesed building a long ways off from RED's spawn, and the 2nd control point requires RED to pass through a large opening in order to reach it. Disadvantages for the defender.

Meanwhile, 5th and 6th control point have RED spawning near both and there are chokepoints everywhere in in the defenders' favor.
