Known:
-Lighting issue on some tollbooth curbs
-Missing collisions on some house porch steps and apartment steps
-Replace metal texture on street signs (EP1/EP2?)
-LODs recommended on certain models, particularly vegetation
-Fix env_cubemaps
-Missing texture on red house rear door sill

Maybe:
Change skybox, add env_sun
More branding, street address numbers, signs

- Theres some lighting issues with the highway
- When i look into certain places in the map, (like the tollbooth) my fps drops

Suggestion:

- Make places like the mega mart, chris classics and sit & go enterable?

btw, its a pretty nice map for driving.

I'd highly recommend HDR, I even pay you to render it in HDR. I've been aching to use this map that you've created since you started the thread on Facepunch. SFM users like me would absolutely fall in love with this map, I know this is comment is not on topic with bugs regarding to the map. But if you would make it HDR, a majority of major animator / filmmakers using the Source Engine outside of Garrysmod would thoroughly enjoy it.

P.S. I know a mapper that would be glad to render it in HDR if you would give me the embedded models and so on for him to convert it properly. He's the lead mapper for BrainBread 2 on Steam.

Oh and another note: If there could be any way you could raise the skybox just a tad bit more on the main level on the map, that would also be perfect! And be sure to send me a reply if you can, that'd be nice! :)

I've tried HDR several times but the compiler keeps crashing on it, and am using an HDR skybox...I'll have to find a fix but was disappointed it wouldn't work myself. Because I have compiled it in HDR before and it's so much better when it works.

The engine is already at its limits with what's there - gmod/Source is just old.

I'll look at the env_skypaint, but I did try adding an env_sun only to remember that the skybox sun is behind the clouds, therefore an env_sun meant having two suns. Even if I lined it up perfectly where the sun would be in the skybox texture, it'd make little sense with how the skybox clouds surround it (would give the effect of the clouds being behind the sun)

- the Clark/Ridge Avenue sign by the "auto parts" store is floating unrealistically in the air
- the pond that's part of the golf grounds has grass as its material - same with the bit of lake that's inside the map (not in the skybox) (screenshot[i.imgur.com])
- the materials for the windows of the building by the toll booths are missing (screenshot[i.imgur.com]]
- the materials for all the sides of the parts of the main highway that stick out except for the one closest to the town right by the off/on-ramps near the toll booths are missing
- the thin lamp posts used for most of the road in the town lack collisions

Regarding the grass pond, do you have an Intel graphics chip? I saw the same issue on my Thinkpad (Intel) but not my tower (Nvidia) and a friend suggested this might be the case. If so, at least I'll know a fix.

I use an RX 480, that replaced the GTX 670 I had before Christmas. I had the grass pond issue with both GPUs.
I wouldn't say it's an issue with Nvidia versus AMD versus Intel.

also, I have the exact same issue with my school computer, which has an integrated Intel GPU.
I'm thinking it's different across your computers because of their local versions of the map. just a hunch.

one thing that I forgot about - the physics objects in the map weigh unrealistically much - all the cars at the dealership weigh well over 10 tons each, for example.

the most recent update fixed just about all the important issues I mentioned, but now cubemaps are missing (being replaced by the default placeholder cubemap, or whatever it's called)

Whoops! That deserves a post-it on the monitor. Gonna add Rush Freak's latest vehicle to the car lot too when I fix that, a GMC pickup.
