Bug Report Area
Please give as much details as possible. And describe how to recreate the bug. State your PZ version aswell please.

Known Bugs - Unknown Causes or Currenlt un-fixable

1) Necroforge may not spawn items on your character with survivors mod enabled. The items end up going to a near by Survivors

2) There is occasional crashing. Sometimes you can play for (real life)days with this never happening, other times it may happen serveral times a (real life)day. The error will say something about bodydamage.updateWetness. This happens when a survivor happens to be on a gridsquare that got unloaded while he was updating. GridSquares get unloaded when you get too far away from them. The java function that runs during this requires the square the survivor is standing on to be loaded. So if it returns null then it crashes. I reported this a while back. Its in the java so i cant fix it. You can simply reload your game and carry on with no save loss afte this crash IF you choose load game and select the save file that says "crash" you will not lose any progress. You will lose progress if you just choose continue though.

3) screen offset from Aiming and moving your mouse to the outter edges of the screen moves very quicky when any survivors are in the loaded cell.

Survivors will clone themselves occasionally, carried items included. I'm not sure how it happens and I've only had it happen a handful of times but one survivor had 8 clones.

I've had pvp mode turn itself on seemingly at random and survivors that were following me just start attacking me. I'm almost 100% positive it's not because they were hungry because I give them "come here" orders individually and distribute food and water as I find it.

I've also noticed survivors won't pick up the Hydrocraft containers that can be filled with water like Canteens and IBCs, they'll only pick up bottles from the main game.

Did the cloning you saw happen before or after this date:

"i made adjustments to the survivor saving and loading system which should theoretically eliminate any more survivor douping and random dissapearances"

Please le me know if the game save you saw clone in is older or newer than this date.


PVP will turn on by itself anytime a survivor attempts to attack another survivor. its just a warning to you so you know its on. it will turn back off once the fighting stops.

I was playing a game that I had started last month, do I need to start a new game for it to update with the fix?

I know NPCs will retaliate against friendly fire by default, but a few times I had it happen long after any fighting had stopped while I was searching a building or sorting through my inventory.

clones might happen on saves that were made before that update, but should not happen on newgames. The pvp thing will turn on if ANY survivors even attempt to attack each other, not just your party survivors, could be survivors way off your screen that you cant even see

I had hostile survivors turned off in that game, and the only time I had pvp turn itself on is when they started attacking me. I'll start a new game and see if it still happens, the only thing I can think of is it might have been because it was an older save.

you guys aren't hearing me. its not a bug its on purpose. pvp is off by default, but will turn on automatically when a survivor attacks a survivor

I know what you're saying but PVP turning itself on as a warning isn't the issue, it's that my own party members suddenly attack me whenever it happens. I have hostile NPCs and friendly fire retaliation/player retaliation off in settings.lua so NPCs shouldn't be attacking eachother or me to begin with.

there are still some ways hostile activity can happen.
1 if you get bit and they see the bite.
2 if they are starving too long
3 if you come near hostile PRESET survivors which are not effected by settings

Hmm....lately I've been playing with no transmission and haven't been real concerned with avoiding multiple Zombies so I suppose it could've been from a bite, but I'd been bitten previously and not gotten attacked. Do they have to actually see you get bit or will they notice a bite when you're changing bandages?

bite must be exposed, and you been in their line of sight and then there is chance they will see it. but they will shout things like "YOur infected" and such as they start to try and kill you
So, is there a way to "Uninstall" this mod entirely and then re-install it? I was using it on a save, turned it off in the game's mod's settings, then went and modified the ULA file to tone down survivor spawn. When I turned it back on, my exception counter went over 30k and the console displayed a stack trace for LoadSquareHandle -- file: Suvivors.lua #1183

unsubscribe, close pz, use the steam verify game files thing. it will then redownload and fix anything that got messed up. then re subscribe and redownload the zombie.zip patch thing and paste it again

This was probably the case then, I don't remember seeing anyone complain about a bite but when you're searching through containers you sometimes miss things. Like the Zombie that was standing next to the door when you walk into a bathroom.

If you swap weapons with someone and give them a gun with no ammo then swap weapons again you get back a fully loaded gun. It's like they're all carrying a bag of holding with infinite ammo of all types.
