Im not sure how the game calculates "ship power". Very often the number is highly inaccurate and 1 ship of 10K power can easily lose to 5K power fleet and vice versa. So I have no concrete opinion on Galleon in your module.

However few points that are worth looking into
1) Galleon power after upgrades easily matches 20K, but with DPS of 200/s he easily matches 2-3 battleships in firepower
2) Enemy seem to have atacking Galleon set to low priority as compared to other battleships or dreadnought. That allows for a very high durability compared to them, regardless of hp, I dont know why AI is set the way its set and why it chooses to avoid atacking galleon.
3) It is also worth noting that Galleon usually acts like a close-range ship (possibly cruiser kind of AI), though its essentially a battleship.

Ну не знаю, захватил галлеона, по дпсу он примерно как линкор из нью шип классес, для ваниллы наверно как два линкора.
Конечно куча хп (и с установленной броней он не будет так быстро умирать, как пиратский), но я не думаю, что это сильно решает.

Ну если так, то оно даже хорошо. Вечно проблема с уникальными кораблями, что по ним начинают палить и они сливаются, а восстановить нельзя. В итоге или переигрывать бой до выживания, либо постоянно "оверкиллы" нужны, чтоб убивать флот врага прежде, чем он может "потопить" твой корабль. Кстати всегда напрягало, что левифаны, которых захватываешь слабее, чем те с которыми дрался. Это касается Дредноута и Дракона.

for some reason i seem to be able to build the pirate galleon, think its the one from this mod pack but it requires less than 600 minerals but a lv 50 spaceport any ideas?

Не могу сделать Галеон видимым в окне Конструктора судов. Как и его части. Сам корабль разбил на 3 части - что бы надписи не перекрывались... Также не могу установить боевой компьютер, хотя у оригинала есть "CRUISER_COMBAT_COMPUTER_3".

По какой-то причине Галеон становится видимым в окне конструктора, только если его переименовать в другой класс - как в моде Buildable Galleon. Я даже переписывал целиком файлы guardians.txt и 11_guardian.txt - не помогает. Только переименование :(( Наверное это какойто хитрый механизм инвиза :((

I think I found a bug: Engage and disable the pirate ship. Disengage an leave the system (had to since I didn't have a lvl 3 general at the time). Allow the pirate ship to repair back to 100%. Engaging the pirate ship again will not start the combat phase anymore, therefore no chance to disable or destroy it. Please advise.

Edit: Found it.

"Find save game
Rename to .zip
Double click it, you should now be inside it
Drag the meta file to another folder
Open it with text editor and remove the line Ironman = yes
Save it and drag it back into the zip
Rename it back to .sav
Can add the line back when you are done."

I found a problem but don't know if it's related to your mod. I defeated the hellfire riders but I couldn't board the ship immediately. Now I can't either vboard them or attack them again. They are in a system see as enemies but i can't do nothing with them. Any idea?

2 suggestions. The point defense on the ship is set into a small slot like before 1.5 instead of a point defense slot. This leaves you with either completely replacing them and going without point defense or not being able to upgrade. Also, for a pirate ship of that size, the bombardment damage is weak as sh*t. I keep the ship in a seperate fleet becuase of the speed but on limited bombardment it sits there for an in-game year or 2 before actually reducing the fortifications enough for me to invade. I know these are default problems with the ship but they don't seem like they'd be to hard to fix.
